The Delhi High Court was considering a trademark infringement suit filed by the famous pizza chain Domino’s. In a trademark infringement suit, the Delhi High Court has granted relief to the famous Pizza Eatery Domino’s by directing the food delivery Companies Swiggy and Zomato to delist restaurants operating under the names of Dominic Pizza, Domindo Pizza.

The Delhi High Court has recognised "TAJ" as a well-known trademark, granting it protected status in the hospitality sector. The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) filed a lawsuit against individuals accused of misusing the brand. The court cited evidence of IHCL's global recognition, historical significance, and brand reputation.

Don José Mario Alfaro González, known as Mario, operates a supermarket in San Ramón, Costa Rica, called ‘Super Mario.’ According to the supermarket’s Facebook page, González founded the store in 1973—years before Nintendo’s red-capped video game protagonist first appeared in ‘Donkey Kong’ or the release of the first ‘Super Mario Bros.’ game.
